1005 East Pike Street Seattle, WA 98122
Well, with over 100 reviews found within seconds, Caffe Vita is a must-go coffee shop when in Seattle. I have pulled a few fellow employees in there and all were quite impressed at both quality of service and the deep cup of espresso. Full-on accolades here - one of my favorite places for an Americano! Seating is available for that quick meeting too. Parking issues? -sometimes. And the wall art is perfect for this quirky artist-driven locale in Seattle. OUTDOOR SEATING!

The Bauhaus is awesome... if you can find a place to park. The combination of coffee and books is perfect. Located just up the street from Fillipi Books, this cozy book-nook coffee shop is the perfect spot to enjoy your latest book acquisitions. Crammed bookshelves support high ceilings with used books and large windows allow patrons glimpses of street activity, pedestrians, and the distant Space Needle. Their art books were on sale at one time but now only for show. A variety of standard coffeehouse treats. Get a taste of the New York Times (on sale at the cash register) and a thirst for the least-acidic coffee blends in town. OUTDOOR SEATING!

So what makes a coffee house good? Come here and find out. The service here is surperb, they have a good selection of pastries and the local art on the walls adds character to an already great place. This place draws a varied cliental which prevents it from having an air about it. They did have music on the night I was there, but Didn't say long.. unfortunately. I did have an awesome Caramel Macchiato which had the perfect sweetness and the 'latte art' on top was some of the best I’ve seen (I had to take a picture of it!). There are plenty of wall outlets for those of us with laptops and some tables have a little reading lamp which makes it a cozy place to curl up with a good book and a excellent latte. Locally-owned and run, Victrola makes some of the best coffee in Seattle. Their sandwiches are also great and often over-looked. It's a great place to study or meet friends, and there are a few seats outside in front in addition to inside. At peak times, it can be a bit crowded, but still a great place nonetheless. OUDOOR SEATING!

Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
1115 12th Avenue. Seattle, Wa
(206) 323-1544  Weekdays: 6:00 am – 9:00 pm
A great way to learn about great coffee is to TRY a great coffee. I love Stumptown on 12th. I really enjoy the people who work there and consider Stumptown is a great standout in the coffee community. I also love how the roaster is downstairs and available for viewing at any time, plus EVERY day free coffee cupping at 3pm. I went in looking for whole bean coffee and they were very helpful without being pushy, and the coffee I ended up purchasing was amazing. I have been back for espresso often and have found the place calm and enjoyable.
